Her professional interests grew from her research with military families, and she accepted a commission as a Captain in the United States Army in 2008. While serving on active duty, she completed her internship and postdoctoral residency through Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Following completion of her studies, she was stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas where she continued to work with military service members and their families. Through her work in the military, Dr. Coldwell received a great deal of experience treating individuals with anxiety, sleep, and trauma-related disorders.
In 2013, Dr. Coldwell moved to Memphis where she accepted a position working with women veterans at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. In August 2018, she joined the team at Germantown Behavioral Health.
A generalist by training, Dr. Coldwell has treated individuals with a wide range of symptoms. However, she has specialty training in treatments for anxiety disorders, trauma disorders, sleep disorders, depression and management of chronic medical conditions. She treats both adult and adolescent clients.
